Credit unions are regulated by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). Like an FDIC-insured account you may have with a bank, deposit accounts with First Tech are NCUA-insured up to $250,000. The NCUA has also rated First Tech among the safest credit unions in the country, and under NCUA regulations, we're considered a well-capitalized institution.
