Unlike a traditional bank, First Tech is governed by a 100% volunteer Board of Directors comprised of First Tech members.
The Board of Directors governs the general direction and affairs of the credit union in accordance with our Bylaws. They also oversee the President and CEO who manage First Tech's day-to-day operations with the support of the Executive Team.

Jeff Hank
Chair
Jeff joined the board in 2007. He has held executive leadership roles as Vice President, Corporate Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer at Intuit, Inc. Previously, he was an Audit Partner at KPMG LLP and Arthur Andersen LLP. Jeff currently serves as Chair of Qualys, demonstrating extensive experience in executive leadership and board governance.Wayne Haubner

Wayne joined the board in 2021. He has over 38 years in technology that began at Digital Equipment Corporation. He has held senior roles at ADP, IBM, SAP, and more. As a member-owned institution, we take the management of your money very seriously. That's why we believe it's important for you to know how your credit union is performing.
Our federal regulator, the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), has rated First Tech among the safest credit unions in the country, and under NCUA regulations, we're considered a well-capitalized institution. Plus, we regularly have an outside firm audit our financials to ensure accuracy and accountability.
