Steven Wright serves as Chief Legal Officer at First Tech Federal Credit Union leading our Enterprise Governance & Legal Affairs organization, including Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory and Legislative Affairs. 

Steven is an accomplished legal and governance leader with deep experience advising complex, mission-driven organizations. Most recently, he served as General Counsel and Chief Ethics Officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, where he was a trusted advisor to senior leadership on a wide range of legal, policy, and governance matters. During his tenure, he also led enterprise-wide teams across legal, real estate services, and law enforcement, and supported major national initiatives such as the launch of FedNow and emergency lending programs during the COVID 19 pandemic.  

Steven is widely respected for his steady leadership, thoughtful judgment, and collaborative approach. He brings a values-driven mindset that aligns closely with First Tech’s vision and our commitment to serving members with integrity, care, and excellence.
