Adventures with First Tech during
Hood To Coast 2024
We were honored to play such a major role in this year’s Hood To Coast journey. Our team of volunteers were out along the course supporting all the participants throughout the weekend! You may have seen us at Exchange 12 in Portland, where First Tech set up a hydration station and handed out electrolyte beverages and cooling towels to keep the runners refreshed. We also set up a tent at the finish line in Seaside, complete with massage stations where participants could schedule a 15-minute massage (or 30 minutes if you were a First Tech member!) as soon as they finished their race. On top of that, we held a beach chair giveaway to ensure at least 50 race participants and community members could relax in style.
Our own team of runners, the First Tech Trekkers, also participated in the relay this year and finished strong! It was a weekend of adventure and a long journey to reach Seaside. We’re proud of everyone who helped make this year’s event a resounding success.
