How to add a Payee in Bill Pay on Desktop
Your checkbook needs an upgrade. Bill Pay is the simple, secure way to pay any business or person. It’ll even save you a trip to the mailbox and a stamp. This is a no-cost service offered to all members that can help you stay organized and save time.

Step 1
Click on the Money Movement tab in the navigation menu. from the drop-down window, click on Bill Pay.

Step 2
Click on “Add Payee”

Step 3
An “Add Payee” window will pop up. From the pop-up window, you are given the option to select either “Business” or “Person” as your payee. After selecting your payee, click the “Next” button to continue

Step 4
In this example, we’re adding AAA Membership as the business we want to set up as a payee. As soon as you start typing “AAA”, you will see AAA Membership appearing as an option in the dropdown menu

Step 5
Fill out the rest of the form. You can find the business’s contact information on their website or in your statement. Choose your First Tech funding account, and then proceed to fill in your AAA Membership’s account number, which can usually be found in your statement as well. Click on “Add Payee” to continue

Step 6
A window will pop-up asking you to verify your identity to continue. Select your preferred verification method and click on the “Send Code” button

Step 7
Enter your verification code on the following screen. A confirmation window will appear after successful confirmation notifying you your new payee has been added

Step 8
Now you have AAA Membership as a payee in BillPay. Welcome to bill paying made easy!
Should you choose to add a “Person” as a payee, replicate steps 1-2 and choose “Person” in this popup screen before filling out the rest of the form, then click on “Next”

Step 9
Fill out the rest of the form with your payee’s information and click on “Add Payee”.
You have successfully added another payee!
