A little insight into Erik Falkenberg.
“Clients will care about how much you know only after they understand how much you care.”
I am thankful for all that my dad has done for me. My father came to the U.S. from Germany to start a new life. I grew up outside of Philadelphia surrounded by fellow German and European friends of my father. I have fostered a strong familiarity with the immigrant experience and have fully embraced a global view based on these experiences and my own extensive travel throughout the years.
My dad passed away in 2020 from Alzheimer’s disease. The precious window of time that I had with him was more important to me than anything else. When we plan for life’s “What If’s?” well in advance, we reduce the feelings of insecurity and confusion around money. Helping people with life’s most fulfilling and difficult decisions is why I have chosen the career path of a Financial Advisor, and why I’ve remained committed to my Seattle and Bellevue clients since 1995. Giving hope and helping families spend more time with their loved ones is why I focus on wellness planning, tying physical wellbeing as we age together with traditional retirement and estate planning.
Every family’s journey is unique, and I’d love to learn about yours. In our first meeting, we will discuss your journey and the creation of your unique financial plan that is easy for you to understand and implement. In order to realize your financial aspirations, you need a financial plan that can be flexible enough to change depending on your life events whether it’s getting married, starting a family, purchasing a home, saving for college, or the passing of a loved one. Once created, we are on the financial journey together, reviewing progress and finding ways to increase the chances of your successful outcomes.
First Tech members have chosen to meet with me to strategize around their concentrated positions, benefits, and to gain a better understanding of the often-complicated compensation plans that they receive through their tech employers. Our members appreciate my holistic approach of educating around financial literacy – balancing the need to save for college, homes and healthcare, with planning for their retirement—as well, as my commitment to meet with their professional team of CPAs, attorneys, and others.
Outside of work, I love everything the great PNW has to offer. I enjoy cycling, playing guitar, hockey, and spending time with my beloved mini wirehaired dachshund, Pinni, who is eight years young.
If you, or someone you know, would like to know more about wellness and longevity planning, give me a call or email. I would love to hear your story.
