How to sign up for Mobile Banking

    1. Download the First Tech Federal Credit Union app
    2. Once it is loaded, open the app and then click on “Sign up now”
    3. Confirm your identity by entering your Date Of Birth, Social Security Number, and the PIN that you should have received in your email when you first became a First Tech member; alternately, you can contact us at 855.855.8805 and ask for your PIN
    Note: Your PIN  will be a six-digit code that is unique to First Tech; it is different than a debit or credit card PIN.
  • If you are an Online Banking user, you are automatically enrolled in the Online Mobile Banking. Just simply download the app.



No matter where you are, our e-DepositTo be eligible for Mobile Banking, you must be:

- A member of First Tech
- Enrolled in Online Banking
- 18 years or older
- A member in good standing (no fraud or charge-offs)

In addition, you must have agreed to the Mobile E-Deposit Capture Agreement. If you don't see the e-Deposit option within Online Banking, please give us a call at 855-855-8805 for assistance.
solution lets you deposit checks from any phone at any time. To deposit a check, simply sign the back of your check and write down “For mobile deposit at First Tech only”, then follow on-screen instructions to let your device’s camera detect the best images to capture.

Once the deposit is submitted, we recommend you keep your check in a safe place for 60 days.

Use Send Money with Zelle to transfer money between First Tech accounts. Money normally arrives within minutes.

External account transfers could take two to three business days as we'll require you to make and validate "trial transfers" during setup for security purposes.

How secure is the app?

We use industry-leading security protection technology that constantly evaluates and updates our system to protect your financial information. These technologies include: 

SSL: Secure Sockets Layer ensures that your connection and information are secure from outside inspection.

Encryption: We use 128-bit encryption to make your information unreadable as it passes over the Internet.

Automatic Signout: Online Banking automatically signs you out of a session if you are inactive for a predefined time (usually 10 minutes).

How does eDeposit work with our app?

It's now easier than ever to use eDeposit. Instead of a scanner, you use your smartphone's camera to take a photo of the front and back of the check you’d like to deposit. Just align the check between the guidelines on your smartphone and take a photo.

Note: If you're not already enrolled in e-Deposit, you'll get a message asking you to contact Member Services. You can enroll from a desktop computer or laptop and then use e-Deposit.


Should I discard my check after my e-Deposit has gone through?

Not right away. We recommend you keep your check in a safe place for 60 days.

What are some tips to ensure a successful e-Deposit experience?

Endorse your check; place your check on a dark-colored, well-lit surface; smooth out any bends, curves, or wrinkles; follow the e-Deposit instructions to take a quality photo.
