Sara exemplifies First Tech’s commitment to professional excellence and social stewardship. She is an active community volunteer and a Dean’s List graduate of Diablo Valley College and City University, where she earned degrees in business and marketing. Trust and empowerment are the foundation of her client relationships. This especially holds true for the work she does with our foreign national members. She takes the time to fully examine their needs and explore all suitable coverage options before making any recommendations. Her connection goes beyond an insurance quote – from helping clients find neighborhoods with good schools to recommending local restaurants.
"My goal is to provide clients with the tools they need to better understand the insurance process so they can make informed decisions."
Sara’s volunteer efforts center around children and animal welfare. She’s spent time supporting Homeward Pet Adoption Center and The Sophia Way, which assists women from homelessness to independence. She has also sponsored multiple children via World Vision and she participates regularly in fundraising events for the Soi Dog Foundation and the Humane Society.
Closer to home, Sara is an active volunteer at the WAVE Swim School, which is her son’s swim team. Although he’s only eight years-old, she’s reasonably certain he’ll be the next Michael Phelps. (He’s building up his neck muscles so he can support wearing all those gold medals.)
Sara brings more than 20 years of industry experience and serves members in Kirkland at our Rose Hill branch, and in Seattle at our Terry Avenue North branch. If you’re in the neighborhood stop in and say hi. She’ll be glad to discuss any insurance needs in a friendly environment.
Sara and her son, Magnus, enjoy a moment between races.
